There are new songs as well as a few past songs. Notice I didn't say old. This music is timeless. I have been listening to Yanni since I heard him play on Regis and Cathy Lee back in 86? I still listen to him daily. It is a relief not to hear lyrics sometimes. You will be listening to it over, and over it is so beautifu. This is Yanni as we love him best. His music is rich, moving and inspiring. At the first the vocals seem distracting, but after a few listens, they blend in and enhance his already complex symphony of sounds. True Yanni fans will not be disappointed by this long-awaited cd and will be eager to see him perform his new material in his upcoming concert tour.Free Music Review: A departure, yes - but a wonderful one

I bought this CD strictly because I greatly admire Yanni's prior work. Yes, it is quite different from "traditional Yanni", but I find this CD very uplifting and inspiring and the vocals enhancing and not at all distracting. I have such admiration for the "music makers" like Yanni who CREATE beautiful music, not just perform it.
