Free Music Notes for The Underdog EP

Free Music Review: Pretty good for an EP!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is an ep, and it only has five songs, but it's still a great CD. 5 good songs = 5 stars!!! Here are the tracks:
1. Underdog - 10/10 - GREAT song. This is a very good dong to start th CD. The lyrics have a lot to do with the cover of the album and the back cover kind of.
2. Avondle - 9/10 - My least favorite song on the CD, but it's still good. The only thing I dont like about this song is the lyrics. They're kind of disturbing.
3. Finish Line - 10/10- GREAT song. A lot like Underdog.
4. Powder - 10/10 - This song is Great. It's about Cocaine. You can tell because of the video. (On Ocean Avenue enhanced CD)
5. Rocket - 10/10 - This song is quiet and relaxing untill the bridge, but still a very good and uplifting song.

Since this one is YC's least known, it's kind of hard to find, but if you see it anywhere, BUY IT!!!

Free Music Review: Wonderful
Hit: 5 Stars

Yellowcard has officially become my favorite band.

After buying and falling in love with "Ocean Avenue," the boys' latest release on big-name Capitol Records, I got "Underdog EP," which has five of their best songs. At least these songs don't sound like they were recorded in a garage, as the ones on "One for the Kids" does. [But don't get me wrong.. OFTK is a great record, too!]

Yellowcard's songs showcase beautifully Sean Mackin's violin skill, as well as Ryan Key's great voice [he's not hard to look at, either ;)]. Though some might find their lyrics juvenile, they all have a personal meaning close to the heart of Key, who is the main lyricist. Powder is especially touching- give it a chance!

Yellowcard is finally getting the attention that they so deserve. Support them and help them gain MORE attention and fans!

Free Music Review: Blast Stereos loud!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is an amazing CD. Although there aren't the usual 10-13 songs... its still just as good as any other CD you have (if not better). Underdog has a great upbeat melody... as well as an uplifting feeling. Avondale... while its more of a gloomy song, still has a catchyness to it that makes it so irresistable. Finish line, is more of a mellow song. But it still manages to leave you feeling energetic and ready for more. Powder has a powerful rythum,(as well as lyrics)that demands attention. The slower versus help add more kick to the chorus, which you will undoubtably get stuck in your head. Rocket, is there infamous love song. Its slow melody and romantic lyrics just make your heart swell. You can't help but smile, and sway along to the peacful melody. Overall, this CD is a must have! It's one of my favorites, and it goes absolutley everywhere with me.

Free Music Review: I Guess Everything is Possible
Hit: 5 Stars

Yellowcard's release "One For The Kids" was awesome. They had poppy, catchy songs that stuck in my mind for weeks at a time. The melodies with the brilliant violin set them apart from other pop punk bands. And here they are with a BETTER, NEWER, MORE BRILLIANT RELEASE. These boys came back and they've done nothing but grow. You can tell from the first listen that they have grown and progressed and found they're own style and sound. The violin seems to blend more beautifully than ever and the vocals are filled with more emotion than before. These songs will be stuck in my mind for months. Do yourself a HUGE favor and get this awesome CD. It may be a little hard to find since it's an EP but TRUST ME, if you have to KILL to get it, GET IT! We can expect GREAT things from this band in the future

Free Music Review: Wow
Hit: 5 Stars

This cd is soooo amazing, 5 songs isn't enough! I could easily do with 50 more. It's hard to explain how awesome this music is, you just have to listen to it. It is uplifting, and, without a doubt, better than Ocean Avenue. Now, don't get me wrong, i love Yellowcard and Ocean Avenue is still a great album, it just can't even compare to this stuff. Their singing, playing, and just the style is much better on this cd, it's just.... different. An amazing cd, a must-have for anyone who doesn't already own it. Anyone who enjoys some good pop-punk (or any alternative-type genre, for that matter) and having cd's in their player for long periods of time should go out and buy this A.S.A.P! Happy listening!
