Free Music Review: An OK Album.

Magnum Opus is an album I've never paid much attention to. I bought this when it was first released. The production is good, but the songwriting isn't that great. Yngwie plays well as usual, but that doesn't always guarantee good songs. The instrumental stuff is pretty good though. The singer did well on the Loudness album Soldier of Fortune, but has never seemed to fit within the music of Yngwie. His voice just seems out of place a bit. The album has energy, but on the whole there's nothing groundbreaking or very good about this release. Magnum Opus has always disappointed me along with his previous album The Seventh Sign. It's still worth a listen anyway.Free Music Review: bad CD

Although he tried to make good songs, this Cd is no good, thanks to singer Mike Vescera. THis singer had worked before with the Japanese band Loudness, and just listen to the aberration he made with them! In "Magnum Opus"< the songs start wel,, then decline, and decline, and decline...Free Music Review: Classical Music & Electric Guitar.................Finally!

If you truly appreciate music and like Yngwie Malmsteen, this CD is worth getting. I'm looking for more music like this. If anyone knows of any good CLASSICAL music done with Metal, please let me know.
