Free Music Review: Stunning
Hit: 5 Stars

If you're a fan of GITS: SAC then you will love this OST composed by Yoko Kanno.
Kanno is a veritable legend in Anime circles, having composed music for some of the most succesful series around, and this OST continues her fine body of work.
Inner Universe, Lithium Flower, and Run Rabbit Junk are instantly recognisable as being heavily used within the show itself, but it is also nice to see that some of the music which was used only once or twice has been included. Prime example of this being "Where does this ocean go?", in my opinion this is the best track on the CD. The beauty of this album though is that the work is so varied that everyone will find something they like.

Free Music Review: Yoko Kanno does it again.
Hit: 5 Stars

Yoko Kanno once again creates a real work of art with the GITS:SAC O.S.T,when I saw this in the store I had to have it. The songs go from eerily fast and pounding to hauntingly melodic and all in between. The haunting angelic female vocals will leave you mesmorized and in short the entire cd is a work of art. Having said that there is one flaw, it seems that somebody accidentily fused velveteen with lithium flower so they end up being on the same track. However this is a small problem that can be easily overlooked. My personal favorites are Run Rabbit Junk and Home stay. This cd isn't for everyone but for those who do decide to buy it I can guarantee Ms.Kanno will not dissapoint you.

Free Music Review: Yoko Hanno is truely amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

My personal favorites are Inner Universe and Rise I say Inner Universe is a song for the soul just about anything that is going in your life this song can identify. I looked up the lyrics for Inner Universe and of course its in language all on its own but the feel is amazing. I can not wait till I get both soundtracks I think there should be more music like this Yoko in her own right is a genus I know that she goes by an alternate name but that just adds more to her style. I suggest to anybody who likes anime to hear Yoko Hanno and let her music captivate you. Her albums are definitely worth the buy.

Free Music Review: Impressed as expected
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack is a wonderful example of Yoko Kanno's musical expertise. Yoko is also the composer of music from japanese animation titles such as Vision of Escaflowne and Macross Plus, as well as music for some of Koei's well renouned Final Fantasy games. Ms. Kanno uses moving and adventurous themes with orchestral, jazz and experimental elements.

The Ghost In The Shell creators could not have found a better composer to successfully explore the themes of multiculture and foreign affairs of the future, for the Stand Alone Complex anime series.

Free Music Review: Stand Alone Music
Hit: 5 Stars

Yoko Kanno's soundtrack to the Ghost in the Shell animated series both serves as the perfect compliment to an intriguing series, and serves as a fine CD to listen to on it's own merits. There is a wide range of beats, influences, and emotions present in this soundtrack. If you've seen the series on Cartoon Network or on DVD, you've only had the tiniest sample of the exceptional music crafted on this CD.
