I was specifically looking for the song "Friends" when I bought this CD. I now have a shortcut to it on my desktop. After I listened to it enough, some other songs poked my interest.
Face On, especially at one moment, made me go crazy. I felt like I wanted to go on an adventure of my own. That was remedied by a few hours of hiking and a CD player with this.
Cloud 9 was a real turn off for me. It really sounded like blended J-Pop to me. There wasn't any part of the song that keep me wanting to listen.
Cycle is a so-so song, but I feel it could have used something more to make it exciting.
That's Yoko Kanno for you, though. She is very open with her style.

This soundtrack is good but I gave it four stars because to me it is not as good as the first one. At first I really enjoyed the title "Tell me what the Rain Knows" but it is very short, barely over a minute i think, it ends before it really starts and after a while i started skipping it. There are lots of good instrumental music on it which I enjoy more than the actual pieces with lyrics. Overall its pretty good, if you like the series then you should know what you're getting into.Free Music Review: Good Delivery

Very prompt on shipping and arrived in timely fashion. My only concern is that the cd case came with a large crack which meant the packaging had to be opened to check the cd was not broken. It was not, but since it was a gift it was a shame to have opened it and to give it with a cracked box. End of the day though it was what we wanted and it arrived when it should have.Free Music Review: I love YK but...

This OST 2 has some nice vocals about 5 and after that if you like heavy, dramatic music then rate it higher. The Wolf's Rain OST 1 Has nothing short of awesome on it and you must have it! This #2 takes a backseat as if Yoko gave up or she wasn't given enough artistic license. I bought it though, anyway.
