Free Music Notes for Wolf's Rain

Free Music Review: Pure Magick!
Hit: 5 Stars

Yoko Kanno has done it again, this time in the form of the soundtrack for Wolf's Rain. The opening theme "Stray" by Steve Conte is featured (as the first track ironically), and the full version of "Gravity" by Maaya Sakamoto (ending theme) also makes an appearance. Another song by Steve Conte, "Would You Bite The Hand" is rapidly becoming a personal favorite, mainly for the ideas portrayed by the lyrics.

Many of the songs you hear throughout the series are a part of this soundtrack, and those that are not can be found on the "Wolf's Rain 2 Soundtrack" (which has "Cloud 9" by Maaya Sakamoto - a fantastic song!). Basically, if you're a Wolf's Rain fan, you should add this to your collection. ^_^

Free Music Review: Excellent for fans or anyone with diverse taste.

If you love the show you will like this Cd. An interesting mix of suedo-pop ballads and classical arrangements, along with some jazz. If the classical arrangements don't move you on some level, I don't know what is wrong with you! The lyrical songs make you wish that you could get more music from these artist, it like coming across a new artist whosname you can't find out or remember. Really loved tracks 2,9,11,13,14,20, especially look out for the sweet little folk groove on 13.Enjoy!

i have recently become a wolf's rain fan...one of the episodes the wolves were running into a town where other wolves were living and working as dogs to eat/survive - sorry don't know episode name/number...there was a song playing in the background where the saw the town from the top of a snow bank - overlooking a the ocean and a bridge...the lyrics went: we found a kind of paradise - that's all i remember...does any one know this song - i know it's a long shot...thanks

Free Music Review: easy listening
Hit: 5 Stars

I really enjoy listening to this soundtrack, if you are a fan of the series there is no doubt that you will enjoy the music on this disc. There are a variety of songs on here, some in english and some in other languages, I only understand english but I still listen to the other tracks because of how well done they are. I watched the whole series back when it came out almost 2 years ago and I still listen to the music even today. Buy it or DL but definately get it.

Free Music Review: Beautiful!
Hit: 5 Stars

Yoko Kanno composes another stellar soundtrack. I'm looking forward to seeing this series but i bought this cd (at Anime Expo 04) because i'm a Yoko Kanno fan. This music is much different then her other soundtracks. It's worldly. Some great Brazilian influenced songs. Lots of wonderful acoustic guitar work and of course Yokos beautiful piano playing throughout. Plenty of percussion work as well. If you have a good sound system this cd will show it off well.
