Free Music Review: Great, but not her best

This deserves the same five stars that I awarded Mitchell's "You Are My Flower" album, but that other album is my favorite of the two. Whereas "You Are My Flower" is essentially unplugged, "You Are My Sunshine" has a bit more studio to it, which is not my preference for Mitchell's delivery. But it is a great album and highly recommended.Free Music Review: I love this CD!

I bought this CD after having bought her other one, "You are my flower" and I love it! My son really seems to be listening to the songs and has often stopped crying when I put her CDs on. Elizabeth's voice is lovely and I will buy any future music she makes - these are great for kids and adults who are into something nicer than the regular kids music CDs.Free Music Review: MY FAVORITE

I never thought the ABC song could be so much fun, but Elizabeth Mitchell puts it to a reggae beat that is awesome. Every song on this album is great! My oldest daughter (3) and I sing out loud when this CD is on. Free Music Review: Play it again (and again)

Don't seem to get tired of this CD. It's soft accoustic and mellow touch is great for an adult to enjoy as well. The classical songs are fun and easy to follow. I thought it was a great purchase. If you are looking for a nice classical children's CD which won't drive you mad listening to it numerous times this is it!Free Music Review: You can't ask for better

My Husband bought this CD for me when I was pregnant with our first child. My sister and I sang 'You are My Sunshine' to each other growing up and still do if we need to be cheered up. My husband heard a review of the album on National Public Radio and knew it was the perfect gift for me. He knew I loved folk and acoustic music.
After our son was born playing the album during our evening nursing sessions was a mainstay through the first four months. Now we keep the album in the car. We have a long commute to get grocery's and run errands so it keeps him very happy B-Boppin to 'Take you Ridin in the Car', 'BoDiddly', and 'The Ladybug Picnic'. My sister now sings 'You are my Sunshine' to her nephew and he loves it - I can't wait until he can sing along with her. Your children will love the album and so will you. I worked in early childhood education for several years and it is by far one of the best children's album I have heard.
