Free Music Review: G-Unit's best rapper
Hit: 5 Stars

I know I'll probably get a lot of heat for that, but I think that Young Buck is the best rapper on G-Unit, and on Aftermath as well. To me, Loyd Banks is a wack boring rapper, and 50 Cent is lifeless, emotionless, lazy rapper who's usually good only at making hooks (or dropping a guest verse on other peoples songs). Tony Yayo is all right but he's nowhere near Young Buck. Game is close, but his just to predictable in his rhymes... To me, 50 Cent is the most overrated rapper ever. However, with Young Buck it's different. This cat delivers on every single song he's on. Buck always raps with a lot of PASSION and heat, and he actually puts effort in his verses. He's much better than the rest of the weak G-Unit rappers lyrically as well. So this album was a pleasant surprise for me. Most of the beats were actually GREAT (even though some of them lack the South sound), Young Buck came out blasting, and the guests (including 50 Cent!) did a good job. Best guest appearence belongs to David Banner, who completely steals the show on "Welcome to the South" (one of the best songs on the album). Unlike the rest of G-Unit, Buck did NOT sell out on his album, no bulls**t love or RnB type songs. It's all about gangsta rap, and with the support of Aftermath's wealth and 50 Cent's hype, Young Buck came through with an awesome album! One of Cash Money's many big mistakes were letting Young Buck go and not letting him get his shine on. But I guess it all worked out for the best for him, right? Get this album, and support the realest and best rapper on G-Unit.

Free Music Review: Young Buck keepin rap alive
Hit: 5 Stars

IM A SOLDIER - (4.5/5) Good beat, lyrics kinda pointless, but overall a very good song. Good kick in for da album.

DO IT LIKE ME - (4/5) Beat is sweet.

LET ME IN - (4.5/5) Extremely good song, but hook couldve had more meaning.

LOOK AT ME NOW - (3/5) Its an alrite song, beat is kinda lame.

WELCOME TO THE SOUTH - (5/5) Dis is my kind of rap. Real heavy song. One of the best on the album.

PRICES ON MY HEAD - (4/5) The beat is different, but in a good way. Overall, a good song.

BONAFIDE HUSTLER - (2/5) Its a song you hear once and thats about it. Not very good, considering Tony Yayo is in it. Dissapointing.

SHORTY WANNA RIDE - (4/5) Very good beat, lyrics r alrite aswell.

BANG BANG - (4/5) This song was something I would never think Young Buck would rap in. Never heard this type of song b4. But u listen 2 it a few times and its not that bad.

THOU SHALL - (4.5/5) This song has great lyrics.

BLACK GLOVES - (4/5) The beat is tight, but lyrics could have been better.

STOMP - (10/5) By far the best song on the album. Another hardcore rap song featuring T.I and Ludacris.

TAKING HITS - (3.5/5) Liked it at first, dont feel it anymore.

WALK WITH ME - (4/5) A good finish to a good album.

Straight Outta Cashville was a very pleasing album from Young Buck. Hopefully he will release another album as good as this one.

Free Music Review: Ca$hville, TenAKee -- great debut
Hit: 5 Stars

I admit I didn't take lightly to him when he first joined G-Unit but this cd defiantely is in my top 10% out of over 600 cd's. I like it better than "Beg For Mercy" and some of the G-Unit bootlegs and better than Lloyd Banks' "Hunger For More". It's about as good as Power Of The Dollar (if you have it) and Get Rich Or Die Tryin (before I heard it everyday for a year) and Guess Who's Back. Guests are on about half of the songs and are mostly Shady/Aftermath artists. Production is great and handled by 11 different people, Andre HArris & Vidal Davis (2 songs), Needlez (2 songs), 3-6 mafia (2 songs), and Lil Jon, Sha Money XL, Kon Artis of D12, Red Spyda all do 1 song, and the other producers are ones I never heard of. It has 3 classics, 1 song I skip, and the other 10 are good songs. Go get a copy if you ain't got it yet you won't be disappointed if you a G-Unit fan.

#1 - 10 (classic f/50 Cent)
#2 - 8
#3 - 8
#4 - 9 (f/ Kon Artis of D12)
#5 - 6 (w/ Lil Flip & David Banner - definately a down south joint)
#6 - 10 (classic f/ Lloyd Banks)
#7 - 8.5 (w/ 50 Cent & Tony Yayo)
#8 - 10 (classic)
#9 - 8
#10 - 9
#11 - 8
#12 - 10 (f/ Game and a classic verse by Ludacris)
#13 - 8 (w/ D-Tay)
#14 - 8.5 (w/ Stat-Quo)

Free Music Review: Buck Sets The Standard (4.75 stars)
Hit: 5 Stars

Who expected "Cashville" to be the standard for other G-Unit albums, or better yet THE album of 2004? Young Buck destroys EVERY track on here lyrically, and has the BEST beats to back him up. Most people hate artists you talk about guns, rims, robbin', and reppin' there hood the whole time, but you can't hate on somebody who does it VERY well. The only track that you could skip over is the first one, "Im A Soldier" w/ 50 Cent, cause the beat is really not much. But from "Do It Like Me" (track 2) all the way to "Walk With Me" (track 14) w/ Stat Quo, is straight heat. "Bonafide Hustler" w/ Yayo & 50 Cent and "Stomp" w/ Ludacris and Game are my favorites on the album, produced by Diverse and DJ Paul & Juicy J respectfully. "Black Gloves" is a favorite too, produced by Doug Wilson. Of Course everybody likes "Let Me In" and "Shorty Wanna Ride", but people need to check out ALL the other songs on here. "Takin' Hits" w/ D-Tay, another song produced by DJ Paul & Juicy J is a nice track, w/ the only minor thing people give it slack for is that D-Tay has kind of a weird voice, but it's not much of a problem w/ me since I'm used to real distinctive/out-of-place voices(Freeway,RBX,Jim Jones). Other than that, if you don't already have "Cashville", it's not to late to get it, cause it's G-Unit's BEST solo album, beatin' out "Hunger For More", and "Get Rich or Do Tryin".

Free Music Review: The 2nd best on Shady records! (After Shady himself)
Hit: 5 Stars

All I have to say is once i heard the two singles for this cd i knew i had to get. "Let Me In" and "Shorty Wanna Ride" are two of the best debut singles put out by a G-Unit artist. Once I acquired the rest of the album I Young Buck instantly became my favorite Guerrilla member and #3 on my all time favorite list (after Shady and 2Pac). My ratings are as follows:

Do It Like Me- 5/5 (My Favorite)
Prices On My Head- 5/5 (Buck tells great story of the way he feels on certain situations)
Bang Bang- 5/5 (Tells us about his past life)
Thou Shall- 5/5 (Says what he'll has and will do to anyone in his way)
Shorty Wanna Ride- 5/5 (Good freestyling song)
Let Me In- 5/5 (Also good freestyler)
Stomp- 4.5/5 (I loved Ludacris's verse)
Welcome To The South- 4/5 (Only cause David Banner sucks)
Walk With Me- 4/5 (Since Stat is on it he brings the song out)
Taking Hits- 4/5 (Great Lyrics by Buck, but the beat kills it)
Bonafide Hustler- 4/5 (Great beat; Good verse by Fiddy Sense and Yayo)
Look At Me Now- 3.5/5 (The lowest I'll give any Buck song)
Im A Soldier- 3/5 (Worst Intro I ever heard on any CD besides J-Kwon's

So all in all "dis" was "dee" best CD put out by G-Unit/Shady/Aftermath records alongside Eminem's Encore {which you should check out today.}
