Free Music Review: IMO Best rap album of 2k4 Hit: 5 Stars
Now I don't jus hand out 5 mics to any old CD, let alone a damn G-Unit one! However, since Young Buck hit the scene wit this album i have to say this is just straight fire! Every song is hot except for the last one which i wasn't really feeling. Bucks voice is tight with his southern flow n has you gripped throughout the whole CD. Being a G-Unit release it is only right it has it's club bangers like Let Me In & Shorty Wanna Ride but it gets real deep wit songs like Bonafide Hustler and Prices On My Head which features Lloyd Banks who drops a verse a whole lot better than anything on his own release. One of my fav albums in my CD collection.
Top 5:
Bonafide Hustler
Prices On My Head
Stomp
Bang Bang
Thou Shall
Free Music Review: 4.5 stars, great album Hit: 5 Stars
Young buck is a good lyricist who has obviously been provided with good beats so I expected his album to be great. And it was, The best song on here is Thou Shall. That song in my opinion is one of the best songs thats came out in a while. Other great standout songs are Do it like me, Welcome to the south, Prices on my head, Shorty wanna ride, Stomp, and Walk with me, and the songs that i didnt mention are still ALL good songs. Overall, my only complaint is that this album is too short, he could have used 2 or 3 more songs to make this a classic. And also his topic range could have been better as well, every song almost is about the same thing, save a few. But this is a very consistant cd, track after track is hot. Recommended.
