Free Music Notes for The InspirationFree Music Review: 4.5 stars actually, decent sophomore album but the first was better Hit: 5 StarsLet me just say that I've been a fan of Jeezy ever since I heard him on the first single from the "Boyz N Da Hood" album 2 years ago. After I heard that I got that album and fell in love with it. I had finally found some hardcore violent southern gangsta rap that didn't talk about hoes and money. It was dark, bloody, and violent. After I heard that one of thier members was coming out with a solo joint, I was psyched. I heard Jeezy's first single "And than What" and thought it was decent but lacked the appeal of "Dem Boyz". I got the album anyway and was impressed. I must be honest that this one doesn't live up to the first. However it is still a good CD. It's dark, grimy, and has a somewhat erie feeling to it. It's Trap Music at it's darkest. Jeezy isn't a great lyrcist, so if your looking for that go check out Young Dro, T.I, Lil Wayne, or Chamillionaire. This album has more ups and downs but it lacks the charm of the first and that's why it doesn't make my top 10 for last year.
Free Music Review: jeezy shut the hell up Hit: 1 Starsyou sold crack big deal this idiot ain't said nothing scarface, wc, mc eiht, eazy e, above the law, 2pac, outlawz, mack 10, and many others have'nt said the thing is those rappers make itr more interesting.
Free Music Review: None Hit: 5 StarsI purchased this for my teenager who seems to love it. I have not listened to it.
Free Music Review: The Inspiration Hit: 5 StarsJeezy came hard with his sophomore album. A little bit better than let's get it, but both the albums go hard. The hard cut on here include bury me a g, dreamin, i love it, streets on lock, 3am, the inspiration, hypnotize, and jeezy. Cop it if you like trap music and good southern music. PEACE
Free Music Review: 4.5/5.00 Good for what it is! Hit: 4 StarsI dont see why so many people dislike Jeezy. Either these people already hate Jeezy and his personality and/or these people like referring to themselves as "real hip hop fans." Well, I'm just a fan of music in general and I have to say that this album is pretty good, being what it is. Jeezy's whole shtick is rapping bout drugs and 'street life' with a swagger, and thats exactly what he does on the album. Although Jeezy's lyrics aren't that creative, at least he delivers them with style. At least Jeezy aint like MIMS or Chingy, whose songs get annoying within the first 10 seconds of listening. Also, the beats on the album are high quality and catchy, which combined with his okay lyrics make the CD above average. I recommend this album for people who likes uptempo beats and aren't too anal about lyrics. [PS, I didnt listen to Jeezy's previous album]
