After watching my son play Linus in a local performance of the Broadway Revival, I surprised him with a copy of the CD. I chose the orginal cast recording because it had additional features and the reviews led me to believe it was the better one. Without his knowledge,I put the CD in on our way to vacation. He was very surprised, but very disappointed. You could barely hear any speaking parts or songs. It was recorded in a very low sound level and turning up the volume does no good. He has not listened to it once and it certainly was not worth the money.
