I don't buy much children's music -- cause who wants to be held captive by inane lyrics and cheesy music? I always figured that if I could get my 2-year-old liking my favorites, we'd be made in the shade for car trips.
Reggae is great for little people, and the lyrics are accessible without compromising the music of it all. This is a great CD. In fact it's one of the few that my husband AND my child like. Bouncy, happy, mellow. And once he can understand the words, they are kinda cute, too. All around, a good sound, a good CD. We've had it in the car since we bought it and probably listen every day.

What a wonderful cd! I was actually shopping for another cd when I came across this one. I bought this for my 8 month old granddaughter and pre-ordered B is for Bob while I was at it. We will all be listening to this one, and singing and dancing all the while. There is beautiful artwork on the package and on the lyrics booklet depicting scenes from Nature which will be a wonderful teaching tool. There is also a coloring sheet that my daughter plans to color and place under the clear cover of the baby's high chair tray. Oh, and the name of my sweet grandbaby? Ziggy Marley really made something special here in a children's album that works also for adults. Though his roots and lineage is obvious as the son of a legen, he takes it to a new direction by making a straight forward family album.
He is joined by many stars, including some of his family members and stars in the music field such as Paul Simon and Jack Johnson (an always welcome sound for my daughter who also loved Curious Gearge soundtrack.
Upbeat fun record for all ages to share and enjoy.

Bought this CD so my neice(6) and I would have something to listen to on the way to the beach. I didn't expect her to like it because she is disney and hannah montana obsessed but she absolutely LOVED it. She couldn't get enough of "Hold him Joe" and even liked the poems at the end. We had to listen the CD 3 times in a row! I enjoyed it too, and I even caught my boyfriend singing a few lines and tapping his fingers along with the music :) It's so nice to have wholesome music the whole family can enjoy.Free Music Review: Must Buy!

This cd rocks! I ordered the cd when I saw an article reviewing it as a must buy. I am a fan of Ziggy Marley and could not wait until this cd came out. My son (10 months) loves the songs and it doesn't sound like a children's cd (yet, the words are all upbeat with a positive message). Even my husband who does not listen to Ziggy Marley really likes the cd. I listen to this cd even when my son is not in the car! The songs are upbeat and fun. I tell all my friends to go out and purchase it!
