Blink 182 made a different approach to this album. Their is not one toilet-humor song on this record. One of their biggest hits on here is I Miss You. Feeling This is a song about sex. All Of This features Robert Smith doing vocals. Stockholm Syndrome is about a psychological conditon wherein hostages identify with their captors. The Fallen Interlude is a completly instrumental album. Always has the 80's influence sound with lyrics about wanting to get back together with their girl. To bad they broke up after this. Blink 182 pretty much from "Enema of the State" has been a band that not only has everyone heard of, but has also heard their music. No doubt with such popularity, it's sure to bring on the criticism. And sure enough, Blink has had plenty of it, and for good reasons too. But, strange as you think it might be, I consider Blink in the category of such bands as Korn, Staind, and Metallica. Not necessarily because of the style of music, but for what these bands have done in the music world. Each of these bands have made their name known pretty well for their genres, and Blink has most certainly done the same for the Punk/Rock world.
Before even purchasing this CD, I had heard the radio-friendly songs such as "Feeling This", "I Miss You", and "Down". All very well put together songs, and also having the classic Blink sound to them. But until actually popping this CD into the player did I realize where Blink had really gone with their music; Somewhere they haven't gone before.
For those who like the hilarious and vulgar Blink, this album may not appeal to you. This album has some pretty deep meanings in it, some of which you may not catch right away. But the more you listen to it, you start actually feeling quite depressed in an addictive sort of way, if that's even possible. The chemistry between Tom and Mark's vocals in this album blend very well. They certainly have a way of sucking you into this one, and the more you listen, the better it gets.
Truly, Blink found a way to go out on a high note. They put together an amazing piece of work for their last time around. But now, we have AVA and +44 to look forward to. But for Blink, their last was most certainly their best, if not at least their most mature.

This CD is by far the best blink CD that they ever made. Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge showed their maturity on this album and really put together a fantastic record. I'll go through all of the songs and rate them:
1. Feeling This (10/10) This song is simply great. Hoppus and Delonge's lyrics are different but relate to each other, coming together for an energetic, catchy song.
2. Obvious (7/10) This is an interesting song, Delonge does all of the singing. The middle of the song changes tempo with a great bridge, lyrics are good.
3. I Miss You (10/10) Once again, Hoppus and Delonge harmonize greatly in this song. The chorus features Tom singing with Mark in the backround, and a beautiful piano outro completes the song.
4. Violence (8/10) Probably the darkest song blink-182 ever wrote. Kind of scary, even, but an overall good song.
5. Stockholm Syndrome (7/10) A fast paced, somewhat catchy song, a lot of emotion and distortion in this song.
6. Down (7/10) Good lyrics, meaningful song, but a big time downer, too depressing for me sometimes. It still stuck in my head for awhile when I first heard it though. The outro leads beautifully into the next track.
7. The Fallen Interlude (6/10) An instrumental song, dark and moody. It can be looked at as sort of a rap beat. It's Ok.
8. Go (7/10) As Delonge says, this song deserves to be played really loud. Very fast, punkish song.
9. Asthenia (8/10) Look up the word Asthenia to see what this song is about. Quite cathcy, the intro is about 50 seconds long and features real NASA transmissions and radio voices. It's rad.
10. Always (10/10) Awesome song, one of the best on the album. Deep lyrics, and upbeat. Delonge sings his heart out in this one.
11. Easy Target (6/10) I didn't reall like this song as much as the others, though it is still Ok. Kind of feels like it drags on a bit.
12. All Of This (5/10) Surprise! Robert Smith of The Cure is a guest vocalist in this song. It is a continuation of the previous track. Unfortunately I don't like Smith's monotonous voice and this song isn't great.
13. Here's Your Letter (7/10) This song is just Ok. I don't really know why it's on the album, probably just a filler song. It could be better.
14. I'm Lost Without You (9/10) The album finishes strong with this song. I love it. Six, minutes long and very emotional. Finishes with a really cool drum solo.
Overall this CD is great, however if you are a fan of old school blink-182 this isn't for you. I'd defininely recommend it, as it is one of the best CDs, if the not THE BEST in my collection.

Is why once you reach a certain age and you make pop-ish you should be thrown off a cliff.
This whole album is a bunch of whining its horrible his voice bothers me(I listen to Rush and Coheed and Cambria!)
I loved them when they were funny.
If they could make good serious music I'd love them now.
