I have been a kd lang fan from the 1st time I had the surprise and pleasure of hearing her! As far as I am concerned she can do no wrong...and any song she sings can be nothing but beautiful! Nobody has the voice kd does, and she really knows how to use it! I only bought this because it was by K.D. Lang. I was leary of the title of this CD and of the songs recorded. What a delight to hear old favorites in such a romantic style. I am an ex smoker, and these songs really brought back memories of my youth and love life. I have been married 44 years and have eight children, but this album turns me on. You never get too old for great songs and songs sung by a great singer.Free Music Review: POSSIBLY THE BEST FROM KD

This CD is just amazing, although the first time I heard it I was not a fan. I now think that it is a classic. My last cigarette (track 4) just sends shivers up my spine. KD'S voice surely cannot get any better than it is on this album.Free Music Review: kd has got class!

kd lang has always been able to croon with the best, and this album just exemplifies that fact. Gone are the days of chopped off cowboy boots and leisure suits taken from Nashville's trash piles. Pristine vocals transport us back to a time worth remembering. Her interpretation of The Joker is a bit slow, but is definately the "fun" track on the album. If ever there was a kd to hear, this is the one. Her vocal range has not lost much over the years! Keep on, kd!
