Just north of the U.S. border is a little piece of magic called Canada. It's a place many of us here in the States never bother to think about. That must be why we are missing out on so much that Canada has to offer. The best thing Canada has to offer (besides Mellyssa Ford, Deborah Cox and Tamia) is the music of k-os.
He is, hands down, one of the most talented artists making music today. His second album, "Joyful Rebellion", should be looked at as "Exhibit B", with his first, "Exit", being "Exhibit A". From front to back, "Joyful Rebellion" is an overall enjoyable listen. k-os' musical style ranges from rock to rap, to soul and back. The best part about it is that he's actually very good! You need this in your life.

With Joyful Rebellion, K-Os has unleashed another near flawless album. The production on Joyful Rebellion is a slight improvement over K-Os's previous album, Exit, without sounding overproduced. My favorite tracks are Emcee Murdah, Crabbuckit, The Love Song, and Dirty Water. Do yourself a favor and pick up this album as soon as possible. k-os was always keeping it real. And when I first heard man I used to be I also thought of michael jackson(and marvin gaye) and thought I was the only one but I guess I wasn't after all. It's an awesome song and whenever it's on the radio we turn it up real loud. Keep doing your thing k-os Canada loves you!
