Not sure where the guys of mewithoutYou can go from here. Their albums get better and better, and this one is just fantastic.
I heard their "In A Sweater Poorly Knit" and "O Porcupine" songs on the web and knew right off the bat that this album would be a hit.
To put it simply, the overall feeling in the music is a tad "happier" and lighthearted than in previous albums.

I've listened to mewithoutYou since A-B and I have no doubts or hesitations about saying that this disc is very close to perfect! Each album they've released show s a little bit more about who they are and where they're going. You can't put them in a genre and don't you even try, genres are garbage. The first time you hear them you don't know what to make of it, the second time you get an ear for the music, the third time the lyrics along with the music just seem to work waaaay to good, then by the fourth time you listen ( and there will be a fourth) you'll start thinking of this disc like Christmas, it'll be special to you and will bring you something that you'll want to remember.
This album builds much teh same way "Catch for Us the Foxes" does, each song has it's own personality and movement. In a market dimly lit is one of my favorites but the best has to be the closing track. There's not enough and there's definetly too much that can be written about this album. I feel if you're looking for something just left of centre that carries heart and soul (and aren't bothered by religious lyrics) then have a listen, I highly recommend this and Catch For Us The Foxes.

and quite possibly THE top album. Every song is beautiful. The lyrics and the musical arrangements on each song are like nothing you've ever heard. Any music fan will be doing themselves a diservice by not giving this album a listen. When you do, your ears and your mind with thank you.
