What can I say? It's U2 the greatest band of all time! Of course I was familiar with the music, what I really wanted was the DVD of the concert at Red Rocks, probably their most historical and right here in my hometown of Denver, CO! The concert was amazing from start to finish, they performed in freezing temperatures and rain, Bono sleeveless and the only indication was that you can see their breath!Total energy and even an encore when most groups would've said enough with the cold! It's a must have for the serious U2 collector!Free Music Review: Finally!

Great to see footage of the new songs. The first release on VHS decades ago did have one thing on it that this new DVD does not. In the song The Electric Co, the VHS version shows Bono on top of the sound/spotlight pit in the middle of the audience. This new version has that too, but the short improvisational verse from "Send In The Clowns" is missing from this new DVD. Why? A very minor deletion I know, but hey, it's on my old VHS tape, but is missing on this new DVD. This DVD is really well done - no frills, the focus was just on the sight and sound, and the result is excellent. It has a really nice hardcover book format in a thick hard slipcase. Great booklet. The only disappointment in this particular package is that the CD wasn't expanded. If you love this music, you only need to decide whether you want this or just the DVD.Free Music Review: when artists believe

I saw U2 in the early hopeful days. The experience of those shows is very difficult to describe to people who were not there. This came very close. U2 really believed in what they were saying and had a commitment to a message rarely paralleled in live entertainment. This is a sharp contrast to the cynical views of today. Under a Blook Red Sky/Live at Red Rocks is simply outstanding, a must for any rock and roll fan. The sound and video is excellent, as well as the performance by U2, undoubtedly one of the best bands ever. The band was great in 1983, and continued to get better and better as the years rolled by.
