Free Music Review: three star stuff

It seems that no matter what title you look up on Amazon almost all the votes and ratings are a five star or close to it. I guess people rate music they are familiar with and if they don't like it then why would they have it in their collection? BG7 was given to me a few years ago by a somewhat odd character with an infamous reputation. I've dug it out several times almost determined to find something about it that I like. The cover is interesting but the music really isn't. It's definitely 'industrial' as most of it sounds like what I used to hear in machine shops and foundrys but the melodies (or tunes) that are put against these industrial themes and backrounds just don't fit very well. It sounds like bad europop and vocals by a wrestler with nasal problems.
Music always sets a backround and sometimes it goes well with sex or jogging or shopping or riding an elevator or dancing or skiing or getting ripped and melting into the furniture but I honestly can't think of anything this music would go with. I can picture frankenstein dancing to it if someone put hallucinogenics in his beer I guess but this CD is just too directionless, meandering and all over the place to rate better than a 3.
